An idea to carry on the tradition of support talented performers in the sphere of classical music has been emerged with the Annual International Forum on Brands Protection held in Minsk, which obtained fame and recognition among leading authorities, rightholders, and experts in the area of protection of intellectual property within the scopes of the Eurasian Economic Space.
The Award is a part of the philosophy of the Association, aimed at the faithful use and protection of the objects of intellectual property, as well as at the reinforcement of business and cultural relations of the member states of a new integration formation.
This time, the award ceremony in honour of participants and winners of this impressive project in musical life will be held in the “Grand” conference hall situated in the hotel complex “Yubileyny” as the completionof the International Forum “Anti-Counterfeiting 2015” in the presence of Timur Muratovich Sulejmenov, the Chairman of the organizing committee of the Award, the member of the Board (the Minister) of the Eurasian Economic Commission.
The competent and reputable international jury formed from the famous in the musical community cultural and art workers will name the best representatives of modern classical music and singing from Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Russia aspiring to be the winners of the Award “BelBrand”.
After all, the main intriguing point of the event will be the announcement of the winners and presentation of the highest prize – the statuette of the International Music Award “BelBrand”.
Made of nickel, brass, and gold by recognized experts of the art craft in the form of figurine embodying the greatness of classical music that is able to unite various people all over the world, in the presentInternational Music Award the prize is instituted in six nominations, among which are piano playing,academic singing, stringed, woodwind, brasswind, and folk musical instruments.
In the past, the prize winners of the Award became Alexey Kiselev (violoncello, Great Britain) and Alexander Muzykantov (piano, Belarus).
In October 2015, for the significant personal contribution to popularization of classical music, as well as for active participation in international music events devoted to the 175th Anniversary of P.I. Tchaikovsky, the above-mentioned Award was presented to the famous Belarusian chief conductor – Vyacheslav Viktorovich Bortnovsky.
The spirit of stateliness of the award ceremony as an inseparable part of any similar official event will beperfectly complemented by the huge model of the statuette of the Award “BelBrand”, installed in the“Grand” conference hall and in the lobby of the Big Concert Hall of the Belarusian State Philharmonic Society.
For the reference, the height of the statuette, instituted as the grand prize of the Award is 23 cm, while the weight is 2,2 kg.
The volume of perception of the image will help the viewer to see designing features of the composition,the key elements of which are the treble clef and the stave with the score of the fragment from the musicalmasterpiece of the great composer who won the hearts of people all over the world.
In the statuette of the International Music Award “BelBrand”, the world of classical music is represented in the form of the globe made by the method of artistic casting with a vectorial grid applied on the surface, echoing the silhouettes of the continents of the Earth.
In addition to the purposed prizes, awards, and the audience sympathy, the winners of the Award will be provided with the opportunity to perform in the final gala concert “Musicians for Brands Protection” accompanied by the Belarusian State Academic Symphony Orchestra “Collegium Musicum” under conduction of Vyacheslav Bortnovsky, with participation of the State Academic Choral Chapel named afterG. Shyrma, the Chamber Choir “Dabravest”, and music stars of the prestigious European and International music contests.

The official prize presentation ceremony in honour of the participants and winners of the Award will be heldon December 17, 2015 at 4 p.m. in the “Grand” conference hall of the hotel “Yubileynaya”. The gala concert itself will be held on December 18, 2015 at 7 p.m. in the Big Concert Hall of the Belarusian State Philharmonic Society.
